Round Oak Baptist Church

About Us

We are a Southern Baptist Church located in the northern end of Caroline County in Corbin, Virginia. Our church was formally organized on October 10, 1840.

 

Directions:

From Bowling Green: Take Rt. 2 north to Corbin (just south of New Post). Turn right onto Rt. 610. Church is just ahead on the left.

From Tidewater Trail: Take Rt. 2/17 south to New Post. Go south on Rt. 2 for 2.5 miles. Turn left on Rt. 610 at Corbin. Church is on just ahead on the left.

From Lee’s Hill area: Take U.S. 17 south to New Post and turn right on Rt. 2. Go 2.5 miles and turn left on Rt. 610 at Corbin. Church is just ahead on the left.

From University of Mary Washington: Take Princess Anne Street south towards railroad under pass. Continue south and take Rt. 2/17 south to New Post. Go south on Rt. 2 for 2.5 miles. Turn left on Rt. 610 at Corbin. Church is on just ahead on the left.

 

Directions from Richmond – take 95 North to the Thornburg Exit. At this exit turn right (you will now be on State Route 606) and stay on this road until it runs into an intersection with Highway 2. Turn left onto Highway 2 and stay on this road until you come to Pepmeier Hill Road (State Route 610) at Corbin. Turn right onto Pepmeier Hill Road (you will be turning between a country store named Corbin Grocery and a small brick church). Round Oak will be just a short distance down Pepmeier Hill Road on the left. Travel time from Richmond is about one hour.

Directions from Northern Virginia – take 95 South to the Spotsylvania Exit (126). At this exit turn right onto Highway #1 and then turn left at the third stop light (do not count the light at the exit). You should now be on the #17 bypass. Go 6 miles and then turn right at New Post (this is the intersection of Highway #2 and the 17 bypass). Go approximately 2 ½ miles to Pepmeier Hill Road (State Route 610) at Corbin. Turn left onto Pepmeier Hill Road (you will be turning between a country store named Corbin Grocery and a small brick church). Round Oak will be just a short distance down Pepmeier Hill Road on the left.
